Excellent quality and perfect fit on my H3.
I needed to be able to open the rear (sideways) swinging door and the tilt hitch mounts didn't allow that. This is perfect. It fits snug up against the spare tire and allows the door to swing wide open, even with the bikes on.
It is nice looking, tough, and includes a lock for the carrier as well as a cable lock for mounted bikes.
When not carrying bikes, I can install the spare tire slip cover over the bike carrier mounting bracket. No need to remove the spare tire. To carry again, just slip the carrier over the mounting base and tighten the one locking bolt. Doesn't get easier than that. MUCH easier than the post hitch type I has previously.
If you have a rear mounted spare tire, this is the bike carrier for you.

Rack fit perfectly on my jeep spare tire. I have the rubicon tires and still only had to use the middle size stem for a tight fit. I don't think it would be an issue at all to use this with 35x12.50s. My hardtail bike fits great also.

I bought this rack for a 2600 mile road trip to a 484 mile bicycle ride. I needed to lug two Surly Long Haul Truckers on the back of a 2007 Toyota Rav4 from Boston to Des Moines and back. This rack did the job. The anti-sway worked well, but it rubbed the paint off of the tube on my bike in a nickel sized area. I'd wrapped the tube in electricians tape, but it did no good. The two bikes rubbed against each other a bit, which is to be expected I guess, since they had full fenders and racks. These are heavy steel bikes and the rack kept them secure. I removed and resucured the rack every 800 miles. Oh, and the rack comes with 1 lockable SKS Lock Core, key and a cable lock, which is nice.
